Georgia Aquarium Education Open House
Sunday, October 21st, 2007 · 6 p.m. to 9 p.m

Join us for our Education Open House for Pre-K through 12th grade educators and supervisory staff on Sunday, October 21st from 6:00 - 9:00 p.m. to learn about our new educational programs.

The evening includes an opportunity to experience our Learning Loop with the assistance of our educators to guide you along the way and answer questions. The main Aquarium will be open for your own self-guided tour. Beginning at 7:30 we will feature a program and giveaways in our Oceans Ballroom.

Members Entrance:
Aquarium Entry for the Education Open House is through our dedicated Members/Education Entrance for this event. The Members Entrance is located at the corner of Baker Street and Luckie Street.

Parking:
Complimentary Parking in the Georgia Aquarium Deck will be provided for attendees. The Georgia Aquarium parking deck is located at the Corner of Ivan Allen, Jr. Boulevard and Luckie Street.

Barnes & Noble:
Teachers and administrators will also have an opportunity to learn about Barnes & Noble’s services and programs for educators, including institutional purchasing discounts, bookfair fundraisers, school tours and in-store events, such as principal storytimes and children’s performances. Barnes & Noble also offers an array of books, workbooks and activity kits that focus on enhancing and supporting learning in the sciences, such as earth and the environment, chemistry, physics, biology and geology.

This year Barnes & Noble bookstores across the country will be celebrating Pre-K through 12th grade educators the entire month of October with events, special giveaways and discounts on select products. October 13th – 21st, teachers will receive 25%* off their book purchases and 10% off DVDs and music at Barnes & Noble locations nationwide when they present their valid Barnes & Noble Educators Discount Card.
