Track Sea Turtle Dylan's Progress Online!

Dylan, one of Georgia Aquarium's rescued loggerhead sea turtles, is now at home in the ocean! After being rescued and rehabilitated, Dylan was released on June 30, 2008, on the Georgia coast where she was rescued as a hatchling straggler 10 years ago. Dylan was seen by five million guests at the Georgia Aquarium and is a successful example of the Aquarium's 4R Program. Before her release, Dylan was fitted with a satellite tag so that you can track her progress!

We Have a Winner! Meet Domino!

Congratulations to Ashley Bond for naming Georgia Aquarium's new whale shark mascot, Domino! A perfect name because of the spots on whale sharks and the name of the Aquarium funded research program in Mexico: Project Domino. Bond was one of more than 2,000 applicants in the Aquarium's contest. Come meet Domino as he adventures in his new aquatic home, the Georgia Aquarium!

Become a Part of the Family Advisory Board

Georgia Aquarium would like to invite you to apply to be a member of our Family Advisory Board. If selected, you will be involved in program planning and be the first to try out many of the new programs at the Aquarium. We are looking for a diverse group of members that are willing to meet once every two months and participate on emails and/or conference calls between meetings. All applicants must be parents and Aquarium members. To apply, send a short paragraph of up to 500 words on why you are interested. Please submit your paragraph, along with your name, e-mail, city and ages of your children, to apeterson@georgiaaquarium.org.
